In a charity event, eight famous sportsmen come together and each of them creates a set of four paintings. Each set has an individual value, e.g. 100.001, 200.002, 300.004, 400.008, 500.016, 600.032, 700.064 and 800.128. Your agent represents one of four sponsors that bid for the paintings, trying to gain the most valuable collection. Each agent starts with a seed capital of 1 Mio Euro and a deck of eight paintings, one from each artist.
Every agent sells the paintings of his stock to the top bidder. You have the option to keep the painting yourself if you pay the bet to the winner.
Agents may trade paintings among each other, making offers to other agents that they can accept or decline.
Agents have to offer trades to other agents concerning one or two paintings of the same artist. You and your opponent make a hidden bet. The higher bet wins the paintings, the lower bet gets the money. If the two agents bet the same amount the agent that made the offer wins.
Almost like the third round, except that the server picks the trading couples and the paintings involved. Both agents make a bet which is then evaluated.
At the end of the fourth round, every agent has full sets of paintings which in sum have a value that defines the ranking of the agents. The remaining money is given to charity and does not affect the rating.
